The island of Shikoku is the smallest of the four main islands of which Japan exists. The majority of the island is nature, still there are a lot of great human made places to visit like Matsuyama or Zentsuji. Zentsuji is a big temple complex in Kagawa prefecture. Not only the temple is worth a visit, but also the mountain next to it is fun to walk up and once reached the top, gives a nice view of the surroundings. And if you find yourself in Kagawa prefecture, you should try the local Udon.
