One of few seaside circuits in Japan is Spa Nishiura Motor Park. Opened in 2007, the circuit is certified by the Japanese Automobile Federation and Japan Motorcycle Sports Association as a safe track for motorsport use, for both beginners and advanced drivers.
The length of the circuit is 1561 meter and the straight is 426 meter long. In total there are 11 corners and an overcrossing. The enter the premises an admission fee of 1000 Yen is required. A 50 minute free-drive on the circuit with your own car is between 5700 and 7900 Yen depending on the day. The circuit is often hosting events including driver training.
The circuit is located close to Gamagori, in the south of Aichi-ken. It is approximately 1 hour drive from Nagoya city by car. The circuit is next to an Onsen (hot spring bath) area so it is also accessible by public transport, though from the closest station it takes about a 1 hour walk to get to the circuit. Also, being next to an Onsen and National Park, there are strict sound regulation for the circuit.
