The cheapest way to get drunk in Japan. Go to the supermarket or convenience store and buy a can or two of Zero Strong for around 4 dollar. That should be enough to get your head spinning. Zero Strong is a cocktail made with vodka and flavoured carbonated water. A large variety of flavours are existing, such as plum, lemon, grape and peach.
On the can it says -196˚C which is referring to the fact that the fruits chosen for the flavour are frozen in nitrogen and then pulverized in the vodka. The alcohol percentage up to 9% because any higher would mean that the drink would fall into a different tax category, which would make the drink much more expensive. Strong Zero cans are sold as 350 ml or 500 ml.
