Mobara Twin Circuit consists of two course, the East Course and the West Course. The East Course is a bigger circuit is mainly used for cars and the smaller West Course is popular for carts and bikes.
The length of the East Course is 1270 and it has relatively many corners for such a short course. Driving on the circuit is possible in several ways. Either you can become a member for 20000 Yen initial fee, and then a yearly membership fee of 24000 Yen. Besides able to join the regular free driving meeting which are approximately held 5 times a week, it gives some additional advantages such as free admission to the facilities and discount for private reservations of the circuit. Joining such a free driving event, the cost for driving 1 session is 1500 Yen on weekdays, 2000 Yen in the weekend and for a half day it is 3000 on weekday and 4000 Yen (AM) /6000 Yen (PM) in the weekend. Another option is to join one of the other organised grip and drift events which can be seen on the calendar on the Mobara Twin Circuit website.
The West Course is 700 meters long and can 4 different layouts (A, B, C, D). In the weekends the circuit is usually booked for carting and bike free driving events for which own vehicle has to be brought. On other days, it is also possible to drive with a rental cart.
Each of the courses also has a restaurant. The website has a detailed event section to get up to speed with all of the upcoming events on Mobara Twin Circuit for each type of motorsports.
The circuit is located southeast of Tokyo close to Mobara city. From Mobara city, it is 10 minutes by car. Also, every 1.5 hour there is bus 41 going which stops almost in front of the circuit. It takes around 20 minutes on the bus. From Tokyo, it takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes by car.
